Suzi O’Brien is the Owner of EcoLux Interiors, a design firm specializing in integrating healthy living with sustainable design. Her award winning work has been featured in San Diego Home-Garden Magazine. Her first career was as a Social Worker and Nonprofit Director for a variety of programs, including domestic violence, children’s mental health and foster kids transitioning to adulthood. During this time she also coordinated exchanges of Social Workers and Community Leaders between Seattle and the Russian Far East. Suzi recently returned from a trip to Eastern Europe, Spain and Morocco, where she visited suppliers and local designers. She enjoys painting and making jewelry. She is active with the US Green Building Council and Business Network International. She has a Masters in Social Work from the University of Washington and a AA in Interior Design from Bellevue College. She lives in San Diego with her husband, and has two kids currently attending University of San Francisco and UC Berkeley.
