Julie is a Credit Strategist at Credit Suisse, splitting time between New York and Atlanta, where she analyzes macro trends and recommends opportunities in investment grade and high yield fixed income vehicles to institutional banking clients. Julie consider herself a lifelong learner who is always on the hunt for new adventures. She recently participated in the Credit Suisse Real Returns pilot program, an initiative designed to engage talented women who desire re-entry into the workforce after a voluntary absence. Prior to the Credit Suisse program, she opted out of the workforce for 10 years to raise her two daughters and coordinate two cross-country corporate moves. Julie is passionate about the promotion of STEM education for girls. She served as a Girl Scout Leader for two troops and Service Unit director for 30+ troops in the Alpharetta area and Girl Scouts awarded her the President’s Volunteer Service Award. Before opting out of the workforce, she was a Corporate Bond Portfolio Manager, managing fixed income portfolios for the benefit of high net worth, endowment, retirement and trust investors. Prior to that she served at the Federal Reserve Bank of New in Credit & Risk Management. She earned an MIM from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona, a BA in International Studies from Miami University in Ohio, and spent her junior year abroad attending Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, Japan. Also, she is a CFA Charterholder. Julie was born and raised in Des Moines, IA and currently resides in Alpharetta, GA with her husband and two daughters.
