With her current company, Tamra is bringing broadband access using licensed spectrum to rural communities in Minnesota, Nebraska, and South Dakota, as well as Native American Reservations. Prior to her work with Dryad, Tamra has over ten years of experience in project management and systems engineering at Northrop Grumman, creating and delivering space systems. She has an MBA from UCLA Anderson, where she received the Gloria Appel prize for excellence in entrepreneurship and the Advanced International Management Certificate. She also has an MS in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford, as well as a BS in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT. Tamra has served in many roles with the MIT Alumni Association and is currently on the Annual Fund Board. She is a lector at St. Monica’s Catholic Church and lives in Venice, CA, with her husband and newborn son.
