Melina Fan


Melina is a co-founder and the Director of Scientific Outreach of Addgene, a nonprofit organization that helps life scientists share research materials. She served as Executive Director of Addgene for seven years, overseeing all aspects of the organization. Melina received her BS in Biology from MIT and her PhD in Cell Biology from Harvard University, where she studied diabetes and metabolism. She continues to be involved with Harvard as a member of the Division of Medical Sciences Alumni Committee. She lives in Brookline, Massachusetts, with her husband and two energetic young sons.
