Elizabeth Bennett

Elizabeth Bennett is the founder of Fruitcycle, a social enterprise that makes delicious snacks from excess local fruit while providing jobs for women who have been formerly incarcerated or homeless. She previously worked for the United States Healthful Food Council and the National Governors Association, and served as a Fulbright Fellow in Singapore. Elizabeth is a member of the Washington Area Women’s Foundation Rainmakers, the Kiwanis Club of DC, and is the President of her Condo Association. She holds an MA in the Anthropology of Food from the University of London and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Cornell University with a BA in History.
