Grace Anne Belangia is the Community Development Strategist for CONima, focused on community building to support innovation economies by design. She consults with educational institutions, civic organizations, media companies, government agencies, and community nonprofits. Grace is a founding member of theClubhou.se, a collaborative technology incubator with over forty-five members and twenty-three companies, lead curator for TEDxAugusta, and an advocate for the co-working hacker/maker movement. She has been a communications and marketing professor in higher education, has helped launch three startups, and has been published in more than twenty print and digital magazines around the U.S.. Grace has previously served on the board of directors for Women in Business Augusta, Leadership Augusta, YMCA of the CSRA, Young Life, and the Junior League of Augusta. She holds a BA in Political Science from UCLA. Grace also has an MS from the Department of Communication Studies at SJSU, where she received the Graduate Student of the Year Award from PRSA Silicon Valley. During graduate school, she produced original community events for the City of Palo Alto. Grace is also an alumna of Leadership Columbia County and Leadership Augusta.
