Maria Jobin-Leeds is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of the Partnership for Democracy and Education. The Partnership provides research on viable, community-oriented candidates that will lead us toward a just, egalitarian society. Maria has over twenty years of experience in the field of philanthropy. In collaboration with others, she has launched and nurtured successful high-impact social change organizations, including Access Strategies Fund and Schott Foundation for Public Education. She created “Maria’s List” which is used to comb the United States for champions for public office who will promote bold social and economic policy that is inclusive by race and gender. As an investor, she applies the same values to several portfolios. She is a board member of the Schott Foundation and the Proteus Fund. Maria holds a BA in Biology from Colby College and an MEd from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
