Anyone who violates this code of conduct may be sanctioned or expelled from these spaces, including termination of membership and benefits, at the discretion of the Pipeline Angels support team.

Some Pipeline Angels spaces may have additional rules in place, which will be made clearly available to participants. Participants are responsible for knowing and abiding by these rules.

  • Reasonable communication of boundaries, such as “leave me alone,” “go away,” or “I’m not discussing this with you.”

Reporting

If you are being harassed by a member of Pipeline Angels, or anyone else associated with Pipeline Angels (for example, workshop and/or Conference speaker, portfolio company founder, event attendee), notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact the Pipeline Angels support team at support@pipelineangels.com or by filling out this form. If the person who is harassing you is on the team, they will recuse themselves from handling your incident. We will respond as promptly as we can.

While this code of conduct applies to Pipeline Angels spaces, if you are being harassed by a member of Pipeline Angels, or anyone else associated with Pipeline Angels (for example, workshop and/or Conference speaker, portfolio company founder, event attendee), outside of our spaces, we still want to know about it. We will take all good-faith reports of harassment by the Pipeline Angels community, especially members seriously. This includes harassment outside of our spaces and harassment that took place at any point in time. The Pipeline Angels support team reserves the right to exclude people from participating in Pipeline Angels spaces based on their past behavior, including behavior outside of Pipeline Angels spaces and behavior toward people who are not in or affiliated with Pipeline Angels.

In order to protect the Pipeline Angels support team from abuse and burnout, we reserve the right to reject any report we believe to have been made in bad faith. Reports intended to silence legitimate criticism may be deleted without response.

We will respect confidentiality requests for the purpose of protecting those who experience abuse. At our discretion, we may publicly name a person about whom we’ve received harassment complaints, or privately warn third parties about them, if we believe that doing so will increase the safety of Pipeline Angels members, supporters, or the general public. We will not name those who report and/or experience harassment without their affirmative consent.

Consequences

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the Pipeline Angels support team may take any action it deems appropriate, up to and including expulsion from all Pipeline Angels spaces and identification of the participant as a harasser to other Pipeline Angels members, supporters, or the general public.
