Anna Banks

Anna is an award-winning strategist with over twenty-five years of experience connecting consumer insights and business opportunities. She has now turned her skills towards social entrepreneurship, with a focus on supporting emerging artists and the creativity of the African diaspora. In the past, Anna served powerhouse brands like Nike, Hilton, Microsoft, and Pull-Ups at blue-chip marketing agencies like Organic, McCann Worldgroup, and Ogilvy & Mather. Most recently, she led category, campaign, and segment marketing for Walmart.com. Anna serves on the board of the independent K-8 girls school Katherine Delmar Burke, where she is an alumna. She is also a former board member of the Museum of the African Diaspora in SF. Anna, a San Francisco native, now lives in Oakland with her husband and young daughter. She has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Harvard University with a double major in Sociology and Visual & Environmental Studies.
