Morgan is currently a consultant at Pi Investments, a company committed to investing 100% of its portfolio in support of a sustainable and just economy. In the past 2.5 years, Pi Investments has worked to source, screen, execute and support investments, as well as to drive positive social/environmental impact across the portfolio. Morgan is also a co-founder of Toniic, where she served as CEO from 2010-2013. Toniic is a global network of early-stage social investors looking to move US$100M into impact. Toniic members share deal flow, due diligence and monitoring on global investments in this action-oriented community. She is the chair of the investment committee for The Working World, a fund for stakeholder-owned businesses in the US, Argentina and Nicaragua, and co-chair of the board of ROC United, a worker center supporting 10,000 restaurant workers nationwide. Morgan is also the Founder and Chair of the Transform Finance, bridging impact investment and social justice (www.transformfinance.org). Previously, as the founding Executive Director of the Responsible Endowments Coalition, she brought together 100 colleges and universities from across the country, helping to move their US$200 billion in endowment dollars towards impact investment. Morgan has also worked with grassroots organizations and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Mexico, Honduras and Sierra Leone, and in domestic microfinance with Women’s Initiative for Self Employment. She received a BA with High Honors in Economics and Political Science from Swarthmore College.
