Richa is a Partner in Nixon Peabody LLP’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Public Transactions teams. She represents clients in corporate transactions and capital raises, including early stage financings, private equity investments, mergers, corporate roll-ups, distressed sales and public company transactions. Her clients range from startups to large public companies to private equity funds. The bulk of her practice is in cross-border mergers and acquisitions and investments. Although she has experience in a wide range of industries, her focus areas are life sciences, health care transactions, IT, and impact investment. Richa heads the firm’s South Asia practice and is Co-Chair of the India Committee of the American Bar Association’s Section of International Law. Richa is a frequent speaker and panelist on issues impacting startups. A graduate of the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, India, she also holds an LLM from University of Washington School of Law.
